Getting there

By Train and Bus

  1. Take an express train from JR Kanazawa Station to Kaga Onsen Station (about 30 minutes)
  2. From Kaga Onsen Station, take the CANBUS Mountain Route
  • Travel time: About 62-85 minutes
  • Fare: 1-day pass 650 yen, 2-day pass 1,200 yen

By Air

  1. Arrive at Komatsu Airport
  2. Take the CANBUS Komatsu Airport Line to Kaga Onsen Station (about 31 minutes, 550 yen)
  3. Transfer to the Mountain Route at Kaga Onsen Station

By Car

  • About 15 minutes from Kaga IC

Shuttle Bus

Many ryokans operate free shuttle buses from Kaga Onsen Station. Advance reservation may be required.

Yamashiro Onsen is one of the Kaga Onsen towns. Using the CANBUS allows for efficient travel to surrounding tourist attractions as well.
