Kanazawa (金沢) is a city located in Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan. It is the capital city of Ishikawa Prefecture and is located on the coast of the Sea of Japan. Kanazawa has a population of approximately 460,000 people and is known for its well-preserved Edo-era districts, beautiful gardens, traditional crafts, and local cuisine.
