Atami

Atami (熱海) is a coastal city located in Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan, known for its hot springs, scenic views, and historical landmarks. It is located on the eastern coast of the Izu Peninsula, facing Sagami Bay.

One of the main attractions in Atami is its hot springs, which have been popular for over a thousand years. The city is home to many ryokans (traditional Japanese inns) and hotels that offer hot spring baths, as well as public hot spring facilities.

Atami is also known for its beautiful views of the ocean and surrounding mountains. The Atami Castle, a reconstructed castle that originally dates back to the 16th century, is one of the city’s most popular tourist attractions.
