Tsuwano (津和野) is a historic town located in the western part of Shimane Prefecture, Japan. It is known for its well-preserved traditional architecture, beautiful natural scenery, and rich cultural heritage.

One of the main attractions of Tsuwano is its historic district, which features a number of well-preserved buildings and traditional houses that date back to the Edo period (1603-1867).
