Kintaikyo Bridge (錦帯橋) is a historic wooden arch bridge located in Iwakuni City, Yamaguchi Prefecture, Japan. It was originally built in 1673 and has since been rebuilt several times, most recently in 2004.
The bridge spans the Nishiki River and is known for its elegant, five-arch design and stunning views of the surrounding mountains and scenery. It is also known for its distinctive wooden construction, which incorporates no nails or bolts and relies on a complex system of interlocking joints and wooden pegs to hold it together.
