Kushiro

Kushiro (釧路) is a city located in the eastern part of Hokkaido, the northernmost island of Japan. It is the largest city in eastern Hokkaido and is known for its natural beauty, wildlife, and seafood.

One of the main attractions in Kushiro is the Kushiro Shitsugen National Park, which is Japan’s largest marshland and home to a variety of flora and fauna. Visitors can take a guided tour of the park, where they can see rare species of birds, such as the Japanese crane, as well as enjoy scenic views of the marshes and surrounding mountains.

Another popular attraction in Kushiro is the Kushiro Fisherman’s Wharf MOO, which is a fishing port and market that offers fresh seafood and various other local products. Visitors can enjoy a variety of seafood dishes at the many restaurants and cafes located in the market.

Kushiro is also known for its hot springs, or onsen, which offer a relaxing and rejuvenating experience. There are several hot springs located throughout the city, including the Akan Yuku no Sato Tsuruga and the Kushiro Prince Hotel.
