Sapporo Factory (札幌ファクトリー) is a shopping complex located in the heart of Sapporo, Japan. It is a popular destination for locals and tourists alike, offering a wide range of shopping, dining, and entertainment options.
It is the site of the former Kaitakushi Beer Brewery, which operated in 1876, and was redeveloped into a commercial complex in the area where Sapporo Breweries produced beer as Sapporo Beer Factory No. 1 until 1989.
Sapporo Factory features over 160 shops, including both domestic and international brands, as well as a variety of restaurants serving Japanese and international cuisine. There is also a cinema complex and a large bookstore on site.
One of the most popular attractions at Sapporo Factory is its unique outdoor plaza, which features a large clock tower and a fountain. The plaza is a popular spot for events and concerts throughout the year, and during the winter season, it is transformed into a magical winter wonderland with lights and decorations.
