
Boso no Mura (千葉県立房総のむら) is an open-air museum located in Sakae, Chiba Prefecture, Japan. The museum showcases the history and culture of the Boso region, which encompasses the eastern part of Chiba Prefecture.
The museum features over 30 traditional buildings, including a samurai residence, a thatched-roof farmhouse, and a traditional Japanese inn. The buildings have been relocated from various parts of the Boso region and have been restored to their original condition.
Visitors to Boso no Mura can participate in a variety of activities, such as traditional crafts like pottery, weaving, and dyeing. There are also demonstrations of traditional Japanese culture, such as tea ceremony and calligraphy.
One of the most popular attractions at Boso no Mura is the Ninja Experience, where visitors can learn about the skills and techniques of the famous Japanese spies and assassins. The experience includes a tour of a ninja house, shuriken throwing, and other activities.
Another popular attraction is the Samurai Experience, which allows visitors to dress up in traditional samurai armor and participate in sword-fighting demonstrations.
