Manza Onsen (万座温泉) is a hot spring resort located in the mountains of Gunma Prefecture in Japan. It is situated at an altitude of 1,800 meters and is surrounded by beautiful natural scenery, including the active volcano Mt. Shirane.
The hot springs in Manza Onsen are said to have therapeutic properties and are known for their high mineral content, including sulfur, calcium, and magnesium. The hot springs are believed to help alleviate various ailments such as rheumatism, neuralgia, and fatigue.
In addition to the hot springs, Manza Onsen has several ski resorts that are popular with winter sports enthusiasts. Visitors can enjoy skiing, snowboarding, and other winter activities from December to April.
