Zoorasia

Zoorasia (よこはま動物園ズーラシア) is a large, modern zoo located in Yokohama, Japan. The zoo covers an area of approximately 45 hectares and is home to over 100 species of animals, including many rare and endangered species.

Zoorasia is designed to resemble natural habitats from around the world, with each section of the zoo representing a different geographic region. Visitors can explore areas such as the African savannah, the Amazon rainforest, and the Australian outback, observing animals in environments that closely mimic their natural habitats.

Some of the most popular animals at Zoorasia include the polar bears, red pandas, and snow leopards, as well as a wide variety of birds, reptiles, and aquatic animals. By Train and Bus

  1. From Yokohama Station, take the Sotetsu Line to Tsurugamine Station (about 14 minutes, 210 yen)
  2. From Tsurugamine Station, take a bus to Zoorasia (about 20 minutes, 220 yen, runs every 20-30 minutes)

Via JR Yokohama Line

  1. From Shin-Yokohama Station to Nakayama Station (about 10 minutes, 180 yen)
  2. From Nakayama Station, take a bus to Zoorasia (about 20 minutes, 220 yen, 1-3 buses per hour)

By Car
