Tochigi Prefecture

Tochigi Prefecture (栃木県) is located in the Kanto region of Japan, north of Tokyo. Its capital city is Utsunomiya, which is the largest city in the prefecture. Tochigi has a population of approximately 1.9 million people and covers an area of about 6,408 square kilometers.

Tochigi is known for its beautiful natural scenery, including mountains, forests, lakes, and hot springs. Nikko National Park, located in the northern part of the prefecture, is a popular destination for hiking, skiing, and other outdoor activities.
