Located approximately 145 kilometers south of Tokyo, Toshima (利島) is one of the islands of the Izu Archipelago, situated in the northern part of the island chain. Toshima is a volcanic island, featuring Mount Miyatsuka (宮塚山), and is characterized by its abundant nature and beautiful ocean, where marine sports such as snorkeling, diving, and fishing are popular.
Although Toshima is a small island, it offers various tourist attractions. The Toshima Lighthouse, located at the southernmost tip of the island, provides a spectacular view. Visitors can also hike to the summit of Mount Miyatsuka, the island’s highest point, to enjoy panoramic views. Other notable scenic spots include the Miyatake Observatory, Fujimi Pass, and the Camellia Tunnel. For beach lovers, Tsurihama Beach offers opportunities for swimming and relaxation.

By Large Ferry:

By High-Speed Jet Ferry:

- Available: Spring to fall, once daily
- Cost: 10,890 to 13,140 yen one way
By Air:
- Fly to Oshima Island from Haneda Airport (35 minutes)
- Then take a helicopter from Oshima to Toshima (10 minutes)
- Alternative: Fly from Chofu Airport to Oshima, then helicopter to Toshima
Note: Ferry services may be cancelled due to weather conditions. In such cases, the air route via Oshima may be a more reliable option.
Transportation on Toshima:

- The island is small (4.12 sq km) and best explored on foot
