Getting there

By Car

  • About 20 minutes from Otani IC or Yamaji IC on the Kitakyushu Urban Expressway
  • Free parking available (200 spaces)
  • Rental cars can be obtained near Kokura Station or Kurosaki Station

By Bus

  • Take West Nippon Bus No. 56 from Space World Station to Kamishigeta bus stop (about 25 minutes, 300 yen)
  • 45-55 minute walk from the bus stop

By Taxi

  • About 15 minutes from Yahata Station by taxi (approximately 3,500 yen)

  • Access by public transportation is inconvenient, so coming by car is recommended
  • Advance reservations are required during the peak wisteria season (late April to early May)
  • Opening hours are 8:00-18:00 during wisteria season (late April to early May) and 9:00-17:00 during autumn foliage season (mid-November to early December)
