Miyazaki

Miyazaki Prefecture (宮崎県) is a prefecture located on the island of Kyushu, one of the four main islands of Japan. It is situated to the south of Kumamoto Prefecture and is bordered by the Pacific Ocean to the east and the Hyuga-nada Sea to the south. The capital city is Miyazaki.

Miyazaki is known for its beautiful nature, including the Takachiho Gorge, a scenic gorge formed by the Gokase River, and Aoshima Island, a small island that is known for its beautiful beaches and unique rock formations. The prefecture is also famous for its history and culture, including the Udo Jingu Shrine, a historic Shinto shrine that is situated in a cave on the coast, and the Miyazaki Shrine, a historic Shinto shrine that is dedicated to the legendary emperor Jimmu.

Miyazaki Prefecture is also known for its delicious cuisine, including chicken nanban, a local dish made with fried chicken, and a tartar-like sauce.
