Nagasaki Prefecture (長崎県) is a prefecture located on the island of Kyushu, one of the four main islands of Japan. It is situated to the west of Kumamoto Prefecture and is bordered by the Genkai Sea to the north and the East China Sea to the west and south. The capital city is Nagasaki.
Nagasaki is known for its history and culture, including the Nagasaki Atomic Bomb Museum, which commemorates the atomic bombing of Nagasaki during World War II, and the Glover Garden, a historic Western-style garden that was once the residence of a British merchant and features a collection of Western-style buildings.
