Oita

Oita Prefecture (大分県) is a prefecture located on the island of Kyushu, one of the four main islands of Japan. It is situated to the east of Kumamoto Prefecture and is bordered by the Bungo Channel to the north and the East China Sea to the east. The capital city is Oita.

Oita is known for its beautiful natural scenery, including the Yufuin Basin, a scenic area that is famous for its hot springs and beautiful countryside, and the Kunisaki Peninsula, a mountainous area that features ancient temples, shrines, and other cultural sites.
