Karatsu

Karatsu (唐津) is a city located in Saga Prefecture, Japan. It is famous for its natural scenery, historic landmarks, and traditional pottery. Some notable attractions in Karatsu include Karatsu Castle, which offers stunning views of the city and the surrounding landscape, and Karatsu Bay, a beautiful bay surrounded by beaches and hiking trails.

The Nijinomatsubara Pine Forest is another popular spot for picnicking and enjoying the sunset. In addition, Karatsu is well-known for its traditional pottery, which dates back to the 16th century. Visitors can visit local pottery studios and shops to see and purchase Karatsu pottery.
