Yutoku Inari Shrine (祐徳稲荷神社) is a Shinto shrine located in Kashima City, Saga Prefecture, Japan. It is dedicated to the god Inari, who is the patron of agriculture, business, and prosperity. The shrine is one of the three most famous Inari shrines in Japan, along with Fushimi Inari Taisha in Kyoto and Kasama Inari Shrine in Ibaraki Prefecture.
The Yutoku Inari Shrine is known for its beautiful architecture and scenic location, nestled among mountains and surrounded by lush forests.
The Myobusha , which served as the main hall from the Edo period until 1933, is a designated Important Cultural Property of Saga Prefecture. It features intricate carvings and paintings.
The shrine also features a large torii gate, which stands at the entrance to the shrine’s grounds and is one of the largest wooden torii gates in Japan. Visitors can climb the steep steps leading up to the shrine, passing through a series of smaller torii gates along the way.
The shrine hosts a number of festivals throughout the year, including the Yutoku Inari Shrine Autumn Festival in November, which features a parade, music, and food stalls.
