
Nakamura Residence (中村家住宅) is a historical house located in Kitanakagusuku Village, Okinawa Prefecture, Japan. It is a well-preserved example of a traditional Okinawan house from the mid-18th century, which was the period of the Ryukyu Kingdom.
The Residence was originally built in the mid-18th century and underwent major restoration in the 1960s. The house features a unique architectural style that combines traditional Okinawan and Chinese elements, including a tiled roof, wooden beams, and shoji screens.
