Ocean Expo Park (海洋博公園) is a large park and aquarium complex located in Motobu, Okinawa, Japan. The park was originally built for the 1975 Okinawa International Ocean Exposition and has since become one of Okinawa’s most popular tourist destinations.
The park features a variety of attractions, including the Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium, which is one of the largest aquariums in the world. The aquarium’s main tank, the Kuroshio Sea, is home to a variety of marine life, including whale sharks, manta rays, and other exotic fish. Visitors can also see exhibits showcasing the diverse marine ecosystems of Okinawa and learn about the conservation efforts underway to protect them.
In addition to the aquarium, Ocean Expo Park also features a botanical garden, a museum showcasing the history and culture of Okinawa. There is also a beautiful beach within the park grounds, which is a great place to relax and enjoy the ocean views.
