
Ryukyu Mura (琉球村) is an open-air museum located in Onna Village, Okinawa, Japan. The museum aims to preserve and showcase the traditional culture and way of life of the Ryukyu Kingdom, which ruled the Okinawa Islands from the 15th to the 19th century.
At Ryukyu Mura, visitors can explore a recreated traditional Ryukyuan village, complete with authentic buildings relocated from various parts of Okinawa, traditional crafts demonstrations, and cultural performances. The village includes various types of traditional Okinawan homes, a temple, a castle gate, a marketplace where visitors can buy souvenirs and local crafts, and various workshops where visitors can experience traditional crafts.

- Take bus number 120 from Naha Bus Terminal to Ryukyu Mura-mae bus stop

- Frequency: Two buses per hour
By Car
From Naha:
- Drive north on the Okinawa Expressway and exit at Ishikawa IC
- Continue on local roads to Ryukyu Mura
- Journey time: About 50 minutes (longer during rush hours)
