Aizu Bukeyashiki

Aizu Bukeyashiki is a historical theme park located in the city of Aizuwakamatsu, Fukushima Prefecture, Japan. The park features several reconstructed samurai residences, showcasing the lives of samurai families during the Edo period.

The Aizu Bukeyashiki complex is comprised of various buildings, including main residences, kitchens, storehouses, and workshops. The complex is surrounded by a moat and features a beautiful Japanese garden with a pond and a stone bridge.

The residences are built in the traditional Japanese architectural style, offering visitors a glimpse into the lifestyle and culture of samurai during the Edo period. The exhibits include displays of samurai armor and weapons, as well as household items and tools used by the samurai families.

• Take the Aizu Loop Bus from Aizu-Wakamatsu Station
• Get off at “Aizu Bukeyashiki-mae” bus stop
• Travel time: About 35 minutes
• The bus stop is located just outside the entrance gate

By Car

• Free parking available for 100 passenger cars and 20 buses
