The entire island is considered sacred, and one of the main attractions on Fukuura Island is the Benten-do hall, dedicated to the goddess Benten. Visitors can explore the island via walking trails and enjoy the beautiful scenery of the bay and the surrounding islands. There are also rest areas and tea houses on the island where visitors can relax and take in the views.
Fukuura Island is also known for its delicious seafood, including fresh oysters and other local specialties. Visitors can purchase seafood to take home as a souvenir.

Accessing the Island
Fukuura Island is connected to the mainland by a 252-meter red bridge. There’s a fee to cross the bridge:
- Adults (high school and above): 200 yen
- Children (elementary and junior high school): 100 yen
- March to October: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- November to February: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
